PURPOSES AND OBJECTIVES

The purposes and objectives of this organization include the propagation of God’s Word among the poor, the evangelization of communities in need through the Corporation’s principles and programs, and the nurturing of mission stations into fundamental, separated, independent local churches—through the work of this missionary organization. To that end, the Corporation seeks:

  • to be interdenominational and international in outlook, indigenous in character, and independent of ecclesiastical control;
  • to make no monetary appeals, while welcoming support from any fundamental, like-minded quarter;
  • to operate as a faith mission patterned after the Lord’s ministry (Matthew 4:23–9:38);
  • to emphasize the Lord’s concern for the whole person—body, mind, and soul—affirming that spiritual needs are primary, while medical, educational, and social relief complement the spiritual ministry;
  • to uphold and spread the truths expressed in our Articles of Faith.

ARTICLES OF FAITH

We believe in:

  1. The plenary divine inspiration of the Scriptures in the original languages, as the supreme and final authority in faith and life;
  2. The Triune God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit;
  3. The essential Deity and true, sinless humanity of our Lord Jesus Christ;
  4. His birth of the virgin Mary;
  5. His substitutionary, expiatory death, in that He gave His life “a ransom for many”;
  6. His bodily resurrection in the same body in which He was crucified, and the second coming of the same Jesus in power and great glory;
  7. Salvation as the effect of the sovereign grace of God in regeneration by the Holy Spirit and the Word, through faith—not of works;
  8. The everlasting bliss of the saved, and the everlasting suffering of the lost;
  9. The spiritual unity of all who are redeemed by His precious blood;
  10. The necessity of maintaining, according to God’s Word, the purity of the Church in doctrine and life; and, believing the Apostles’ Creed to be a statement of scriptural truth, we incorporate it in these Articles of Faith.

Incorporated in the State of South Carolina on January 25, 1980, JSM USA is a 501(c)(3) organization founded by Rev. Dr. Peter Ng as a mission board with two enduring distinctives: steadfast adherence to the Bible and a commitment to “remember the poor.”

After beginning Jesus Saves Mission work in Singapore in 1964 and establishing mission stations in Asia, Africa, and Europe, Dr. Ng expanded outreach to the Western Hemisphere in the 1980s, including mission stations in Birmingham, Alabama; Baltimore, Maryland; and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. With the support of many churches and individuals (including Pastor and Mrs. Peter Guerrieri), the ministry conducted children’s camps, organized public crusades in housing projects, visited shut-ins, and ministered to those in need on the streets.

In 2003, Dr. and Mrs. Peter Ng began another mission in Paraisópolis, São Paulo, Brazil. Dr. Ng was taken to glory in 2019, and Mrs. Ng in 2024. In 2025, a new board was organized to carry forward the work of the ministry.
